Accessing Order Guide Editing Features
Before you start, make sure you’re viewing your default order guide, then tap the box and pencil icon above the search bar. A pop‑up will appear with several options:
Edit Order Guide – open the editing tools to manage items, par values and groups.
Print PAR Sheet (if enabled) – generate a printable sheet of PAR levels for quick reference.
Display Options – choose how you want your order guide to appear onscreen.
Setting PAR Values
PAR values help you optimize your inventory by indicating the ideal quantity you always want on hand.
From the Edit Order Guide screen, tap into the PAR Value field next to an item and enter the desired quantity (e.g., 6 for whole chickens).
Tap Done to save. The par value will appear above the green Add button in your order guide.
To remove a par value, return to Edit Order Guide, delete the number and tap Done. The indicator will disappear.
Creating Subgroups
Subgroups allow you to further organize items within an order guide by category (e.g., Produce, Frozen) for faster navigation.
Tap the box and pencil icon again and choose Edit Order Guide.
On the next screen, tap the small pencil icon in the top right to create or edit groups.
Enter a group name (for example, “Produce” or “Frozen Items”) and tap Done.
Tap Done again to return to the order guide. You’ll see your new groups listed beneath the main product categories.
Adding Items to Subgroups
To move items into your new subgroups:
In the default order guide view, locate the item you want to assign (e.g., lemons).
Tap the item and choose which subgroup it belongs to.
After tapping Done, swipe down to return to the main order guide and select the subgroup tab (e.g., Produce) to confirm the item has been added.
You can edit or delete subgroups at any time by going back into Edit Order Guide, tapping the pencil icon, and selecting Edit or Delete next to a group name. Once deleted, the group will disappear from your order guide.
Make It Your Own
Experiment with par values and subgroups to tailor your order guides to your workflow. The more you customize your lists, the faster and more organized your ordering process will become.
