Pepper provides several tools that determine when orders can be delivered. These include delivery lead times, cutoff times, and day of week delivery rules. These settings support predictable warehouse operations and ensure that operators see accurate delivery options during checkout.

Delivery Lead Times and Cutoff Times

Lead time and cutoff time settings determine which delivery dates appear as available during the ordering process.

  • Lead time is the required number of days between order placement and delivery.

  • Cutoff time is the latest time of day an order can be placed for a specific delivery date.

These times are automatically configured to match the distributor’s delivery process and operational schedule.

Day of Week Delivery Rules

Some items are only available on specific weekdays due to supplier availability, production cycles, receiving schedules, or storage limitations. Day of week delivery rules allow these constraints to be reflected directly in the ordering experience.

For example, if an item is available on Fridays only, and an operator selects Wednesday, the badge will show: Available (Friday) Nov 28

This configuration can be set upon request - Contact your Customer Success Rep.
