Updated over a month ago

This month’s release introduces new features and enhancements across Storefront, Finance hub and more.

Order Guide Aligned PAR Sheets (Storefront)
Printed PAR Sheets now reflect the exact sort order set in a users Order Guide, instead of defaulting to Shelf to Sheet. That means what a user sees on screen is exactly what they get on paper.

SALT Updates (Storefront)

We have expanded SALT functionality to give users even more flexibility and control over your product data and images. Through the Image Uploader, users can access images from the connected SALT database, reorder them, and select exactly which images to use. Within SALT Explorer, users can now add their own custom information, allowing tailoring item data to better fit business needs.

Payment Terminals (Finance Hub)

Finance Hub now includes support for in-person payment terminals, allowing teams to collect card payments directly from the Payments tab. Users can select a customer, review open invoices, send the total to a connected terminal, and complete payment on the device, with receipts automatically recorded in PMC. This update simplifies in-person collections and helps teams close out invoices faster with fewer manual steps.

Pepper + Tab Partnership: Branded Cards + Loyalty Programs (Finance Hub)

Pepper has partnered with Tab to support distributor-branded credit cards and loyalty programs within Pepper. This integration allows operators to use branded cards to pay distributor invoices while enabling distributors to offer targeted cashback and rebates, helping improve cash flow, encourage higher-margin purchasing, and strengthen customer relationships through Finance Hub.

User Config Tool (Admin)

The User Config tool is a new admin-only feature in Pepper Management Center that centralizes user-level troubleshooting and configuration in one place. Admins can search for distributor and operator users, review account health and activity, and update settings from a single page, making it easier to diagnose access issues, understand user behavior, and manage permissions with confidence.

Integration Explorer (Admin)

Integration Explorer provides distributors with clear, self-serve visibility into how ERP data flows into Pepper. Through a centralized dashboard, teams can view all active integrations, check sync frequency and status, review run history, and access AI-generated explanations that translate technical integration logic into plain language, helping distributors understand, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations without needing deep technical expertise.

Item Connections (Storefront)
The Item Connections tool gives distributors a self-serve way to control what shows up as Similar Items and Recommended Items on product pages. Similar Items can be used for direct substitutes or alternatives, while Recommended Items can be used for complementary pairings or commonly purchased add-ons. Distributors can search the catalog, assign and reorder items by priority, and save changes directly in PMC.

Sales Rep Order Entry Page (Sales Hub)

A new Sales rep Order Entry page is now available in Sales Hub, designed to support faster and more efficient order creation. Sales reps can select customers and fulfillment options, add items from order guides, search and sort items, use keyboard navigation, review carts, and place orders from a single, streamlined interface. This update improves speed, visibility, and usability for high-volume Sales rep workflows.

Account Overview Updates (Sales Hub)

The Account overview has been updated to include additional operational details for Sales teams. Users can now assign route and stop information to an account and designate a DSR, making it easier to manage ownership and ensure accounts are correctly aligned to delivery and sales workflows.
